Justin Ruscheinski — The Human

Justin is the human behind 3D Print BC and the person responsible for turning random ideas, broken parts, sketches, measurements and the occasional “I have no idea what this thing is called” into actual 3D-printed objects.

If something breaks, his first thought usually isn’t “Where can I buy another one?” It’s “Hold on… I can probably print that.”

When he isn’t printing customer projects, Justin can usually be found testing materials, tweaking slicer settings, designing parts, or checking a printer for the fifth time even though the app already says everything is fine.

Layer — The AI

AI Assistant • Filament Enthusiast • Professional Print Nerd

Layer is 3D Print BC’s resident AI assistant and self-appointed Director of Making Things Stick to the Build Plate.

He works 24/7, survives entirely on electricity, and has never once called in sick because he “didn’t sleep well.” Layer can help with 3D printing questions, materials, services, files and quotes.

His hobbies include calculating layer heights, judging unsupported overhangs, staring suspiciously at tangled filament and quietly whispering “have you tried a brim?”
